At Victor Ekpott Ministries (VEM), our core values are not simply guiding principles—they are divine mandates. Inspired by the words of Jesus in Matthew 23:23, we anchor our ministry on Justice, Mercy, and Faith. These virtues reflect the very heart of God and form the spiritual DNA that fuels every teaching, outreach, and worship expression across all arms of VEM, including its church expression—Flaming Sword Church.

1. Justice — The Divine Standard of Righteousness
Justice is the moral compass of our ministry. It is the call to fairness, truth, and righteousness in both spiritual and societal matters. We believe that true justice flows from the character of God and must be reflected in how we treat one another, advocate for the vulnerable, and steward the resources entrusted to us.
At VEM:
We confront injustice with truth and love.
We raise disciples who reflect the righteousness of Christ in their communities.
We champion accountability and integrity within the Church and society.

2. Mercy — The Expression of God’s Compassion
Mercy lies at the core of God’s redemptive dealings with humanity. At VEM, we embrace mercy as an act of kindness, forgiveness, and compassion even when it’s not deserved. This value drives our commitment to outreach, social transformation, and healing.
We believe:

Every believer must be a vessel of healing and restoration.
We extend mercy not just in words but in tangible service to the hurting and forgotten.

3. Faith — The Foundation of Kingdom Living

We equip believers to walk by faith and not by sight.

Why These Three?
In a revelatory dream given to our founder, Brother Victor Ekpott, Christ was revealed in three dimensions:
As the Compassionate Shepherd (Mercy),
As the Fearless Warrior in Golden Armour (Justice),
And as the Headless Shepherd, symbolizing the mysterious essence of God and Faith.
This encounter confirmed that Justice, Mercy, and Faith are heaven’s measuring rods for true spiritual ministry. These are not optional virtues; they are the eternal priorities of God.
