Mission Statement
Victor Ekpott’s mission flows directly from a divine commission given to him by the Lord Jesus Christ. In a sacred vision, Victor saw Jesus in glorious, transfigured form, accompanied by an unmistakable charge to his servant. In that encounter, the Lord emphasized the “weightier matters” of the faith – calling Victor to be an advocate for justice, mercy, and faithfulness (Matthew 23:23). These three virtues, highlighted by Jesus Himself as the core of true religion, form the bedrock of Victor’s ministry mandate. He understands his mission as standing for righteousness and compassion in the church and society: to defend justice for the oppressed, extend mercy to the hurting and outcast, and cultivate faithful devotion to God in a world of compromise. Every sermon he preaches and every program he undertakes is measured against these divine priorities, ensuring that the ministry remains centered on what truly matters to God’s heart.
Alongside this focus, Victor carries a prophetic burden to “gather together the outcasts of Israel.” It echoes the promise of God to regather those who have been scattered or rejected (cf. Isaiah 11:12). Victor’s mission therefore is also one of restoration: reaching out to people who have been marginalized, wounded, or wandering, and bringing them back into the loving community of Christ. He believes no one is too far gone for God’s grace. Whether it’s the prodigal who left the church, the individual broken by life’s trials, or entire groups considered “outcasts,” Victor is passionate about helping them encounter the redeeming love of Jesus and find their place in the Kingdom. In summary, his mission is to exalt Christ by upholding His justice, demonstrating His mercy, and fostering faithfulness among God’s people, while actively seeking the lost and the least – gathering all who will come, into the healing embrace of the Savior.
